Help. Have a 2013 sedan. Was in a fender bender collision. Now not able to reset fuel pump shutoff. Followed instructions in manual. no good. will not reset. Ford dealer no help. Not even sure where shutoff is located. They thought it was part of the air bag module. The module re-builders say no. Scanned for codes but there are none. Doing a Ford Sync Master Reset. 1. Disconnect your phone or device from the USB port. Also, disable the Bluetooth on your phone . Failure to do this will delete data from your device. 2. Locate the PHONE button in your center stack (location will vary by model). Locate the DIRECTIONAL and OK BUTTONS in the center stack (location will vary).
1) Remove the front cover and pry up the rear cover. Remove hold down strap (10mm socket) 2) Pull up slightly on FRONT of battery box, while pushing SIDES of box outward. They'll separate at corners. 3) The front of the box will lean forward about an inch--enough to slide the battery forward.

After about 4 hours driving the GPS locked up (just when I needed it) No buttons worked, just the odd 50 yard update and an erroneous incorrect turn instruction. Ive got Ford Focus 2019 with Sync 3, the Connected Vehicle features worked fine untill Feb 2020 when the car stopped communicating to fords servers via the car modem. Ive taken the car back to the dealers 4 times now and they cant fix the issue for whatever reason. They keep telling us the TCU / Modem passes all the diagnostics they perform but the fordpass support keep saying the cars TCU Posted April 6, 2020.
