Step 7. Use the attached plastic pull tab to remove the battery from the upper case. If you're installing a new battery, you should calibrate it after installation: Charge it to 100%, and then keep charging it for at least 2 more hours. Next, unplug and use it normally to drain the battery.

Step 6. Use the flat end of a spudger to press and hold the small gold 'battery disconnect' button. If the power LED is lit up, continue holding the button until the LED goes dark, and then release. This may take up to 10 seconds. If the LED does not light, release the button after 5-10 seconds.
