But keep in mind that playing Witch Hunt by itself won't change much, or most likely nothing at all, the thing is that Witch Hunt is basically useless, it really adds nothing to the story and reveals nothing worthy, so just ending the whole Origins stuff with Awakening is sufficient, and then exporting your Awakening saved game over to Dragon Age 2 will be more than enough.
As far as I Can tell you only get one (the one being the blood dragon plate armor) of the promo DLC items with the steam version instead of all of them. Apparently you are supposed to get the key from the steam version and put it in EA's origin launcher to link the game and get the promotional items, but that is no longer possible because Steam
For whatever reason the game hadn't saved the product key at all so everything was unauthorized. If not, go into the addins.xml in the Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Settings and change your DLC from Requires Authorization=1 to Requires Authorization=0. YOu have to get those items at the locations on the map where the paticular quest starts. Wardens Keep , gives you the warden commander armor. Awakening has all new armor and new levels. If you can't find a certain piece of gear then it's usually sold by bodhan. Especially the cool looking blood dragon armor.
16 I want to finish up playing through Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening and the DLC before Dragon Age 2 comes out. I already have The Stone Prisoner, Warden's Keep, and Return to Ostagar. In what order should I play Awakening and the post-release DLC if I want to experience the story in chronological order?
