that's odd, your save file shouldn't be on your desktop. it's in C:/Users//Documents/Horizon Zero Dawn/Saved Game. inside that folder should be subfolders titled autosave0, manualsave0, quicksave0 and so on. each of these then contains a file called checkpoint.dat. make sure your Horizon Zero Dawn folder follows this structure. i
